This exhibition attempts to demystify taboos around sexual health.

Prior to the private view, Sue Williams and Dr. Nick Ossei-Gerning will discuss the work in the exhibition and the aims of their collaborative project.

Dancers and choreographers Romain Guion and Marta Zollet creating work for THROB: EXPOSURE.

THROB: EXPOSURE promises to be an engaging and lively presentation of new music, poetry and dance followed by an optional ‘conversation’ between the audience and Sue Williams, Dr Nick Ossei-Gerning, poet Rhian Edwards, composer Pete Wyer, dancers and choreographers Romain Guion and Marta Zollet, co-director Roy Campbell-Moore.

A new body of work exploring new territory of communication within sexual dysfunction, pain, pleasure, disease and their psychological fallout.

Exploring in-depth male vulnerability, particularly within the context of sexual confidence, sexual dysfunction and female sexual autonomy.

Pushing boundaries through conversation THROB offers 3 Conversations as an opportunity to generate important dialogue around the taboo subject of sexual dysfunction.

Working in collaboration with Cardiologist Dr Ossei-Gerning, developing dialogue and workshops with a choreographer, writer, composer and dancers.

Hole Editions is the imprint of Tamarind Master Printer Lee Turner and was established in 2005. Sue Williams will be working in collaboration with Lee Turner on a production of specialised hand lithography prints in September 2013

OPEN BOOKS

Opening 2nd November 2013

The Sanshang Museum Of Contemporary Art in Hangzhou has invited OPEN BOOKS to be exhibited between September and December 2013 and it is to be an integral part of a programme which is looking at the tradition of folding and expanding artist books and is part of an annual programme 'Decanter Ink' to promote contemporary ideas about Chinese ink painting and culture. OPEN BOOKS will be exhibited alongside historical and contemporary artists in China.

Sue Williams work will be exhibited alongside historical work by Chinese painters from early and mid 20th century and contemporary Chinese ink artists who are taking on this traditional context. This is allowing traditional and contemporary Chinese Books to exhibit together offering a profound and exceptional diverse approach to the Chinese Book.

Sue Williams has been funded by Wales Arts International and University Wales Trinity Saint David, Swansea.
